Ben has been in the construction industry for 25years.  During his career he has worked for some of London’s most well-known high-end contractors, consultants and artisans, fostering strong relationships along the way.  

He began his career as a carpenter in 1998 before moving into site management, predominantly working on retail and commercial projects across the UK and overseas.  He progressed into project management, and has held Director positions since 2015.

It was while working on a mixed-use residential scheme in 2012 that prime residential projects really caught his eye.  Since then, he has worked in some of London’s most prime locations across a variety of projects, many of which have been influenced by the challenging site constraints that London brings. In addition to this, he has experience of delivering schemes for high-profile Clients in Wiltshire and the Cotswolds.

Ben’s experience of challenging schemes has given him exposure to alternative and creative methods of construction, making sound decisions and using “outside of the box” thinking to prioritise project success.

Ben is a driven, tenacious and pragmatic character ,that communicates well at all levels.  He is a methodical and practical thinker that brings with him a “can-do” energetic attitude, ensuring the team consistently deliver quality safely and to timescales.

Ben joined Orchis in September 2023 overseeing the construction of both the London and country projects.

His interests outside of work are animals, cars, art and the countryside, with hobbies including football, golf and shooting.
